MOSCOW, 14 July (BelTA) – Transportation by air and by rail between Belarus and Russia, which the Russian side discontinued in late March due to the spread of the coronavirus infection, will be restored within the next few days. Roman Golovchenko said: “We've raised the issue. The Russian side is monitoring the situation bearing in mind its own epidemic situation. As we understand it, transport service with the Republic of Belarus will be resumed within the next few days.”

Asked to clarify when exactly the border will be reopened, Roman Golovchenko said: “No specific dates have been given. They asked us to wait for an official decision.”
