Air defense missile systems Tor-M2K entering service with Belarusian army units

MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – A number of air defense missile systems Tor-M2K are entering service with Belarusian army units, the Defense Ministry told BelTA.

According to the source, gradual re-equipment of Belarusian army units with new kinds of military hardware is in progress within the framework of cooperation with Russia. A new battery of air defense missile systems Tor-M2K arrived in Belarus on 23 December. Lengthy reeducation and transition training of the personnel had preceded that.

The Defense Ministry noted that it was not the last batch of military special hardware that would be acquired to ensure Belarus' security.
