MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) – More than 425,000 passengers have been transported to Belarus on regular flights operated by Air China over more than 10 years, BelTA learned from Minsk National Airport.
As the airport noted, this year marks the 10th anniversary since the launch of regular Air China flights to Minsk. “The airline operates flights to Minsk National Airport from Beijing and Xi’an. Since the start of the flight program, the airline’s services have been popular among passengers. Over more than 10 years, the number of passengers carried to Belarus on regular flights operated by Air China has exceeded 425,000, with more than 1,300 regular round-trip flights performed between Belarus and China,” the airport’s press service explained.
Minsk National Airport hosted a meeting with Gen Zhezhi, General Representative of Air China Limited (PRC) in Belarus. Airport’s Director General Vladimir Chereukhin thanked the airline for its reliable partnership and many years of fruitful cooperation. Gen Zhezhi also expressed appreciation for the high level of service provided to Air China’s passengers and aircraft. The parties exchanged holiday greetings and well wishes. “We wish for the realization of promising projects, ambitious plans, new partners, and prosperity for the management and staff of Belarus’ main air gateway,” the message of congratulation from Air China reads.
