MOSCOW, 27 January (BelTA) - The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union intend to conclude agreements on mutual recognition of academic degrees and ranks, Iya Malkina, Aide to the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said in her Facebook account.
Iya Malkina recalled that the strategy of further development of Eurasian integration until 2025 approved by the presidents of the EAEU countries in 2020 sets out new areas for cooperation - education, healthcare and tourism. “Today, representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the EAEU countries discussed a plan of action to implement the 2025 strategy in education,” she said. “Among the proposed measures is the development of two international agreements. We are set to draw up an agreement on mutual recognition of documents on academic degrees by the end of 2023, and an agreement on mutual recognition of documents on academic ranks by the end of 2025."
