The Belarusian side would welcome a more active role of the USA in Belarus. Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei made the statement during a joint briefing with U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo after the U.S. diplomat met with Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 1 February.
