Belarusians should not be treated as enemies who have allegedly turned their backs on Russia. Russia has always been the key strategic partner and all the current problems will be resolved. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement as he met with Governor of Russia's Novgorod Oblast Andrei Nikitin in Minsk on 17 October.
