The appointment of a new secretary general was not the top item on the agenda of the Collective Security Treaty Organization summit in Astana. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Belarus Latif Gandilov on 12 November.
