The 100th anniversary of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (Komsomol) was marked at the Palace of Independence in Minsk on 29 October. Attending the event were representatives of various generations of Komsomol members – from veterans of the Komsomol movement to its successors – the BRSM Youth Union activists. The president held an informal conversation with the youth, answered their numerous questions and heard out their proposals.
