MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) – Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus has reached the main draw of the 2020 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian world number 114 defeated Romania's world number 91 Ana Bogdan 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) in an hour and 45 minutes in the third qualifying round. The main draw will also feature Belarus' world number 13 Aryna Sabalenka who will open the tournament against Greece's world number 21 Maria Sakkari.
At the Open 13 Provence in Marseille, France, Belarus' Egor Gerasimov (72) will face Emil Ruusuvuori of Finland (101), while Belarus' Ilya Ivashka (137) will play Australia's Alexei Popyrin (100).
