MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – Belarus' Aryna Sabalenka and Belgium's Elise Mertens could not make it into the 2020 Australian Open women's doubles semifinal as they lost to Chan Hao-Ching and Chan Latisha from Taipei 6-7 (7/9) 2-6, BelTA has learned.
Thus, all Belarusian tennis players dropped out of the race in Melbourne.
The tournament, which is the first of the four Grand Slam tennis events of the season, will be over on 2 February.
