MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) – Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus has clinched her second victory at the 2020 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships on 19 February, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian needed an hour an a half to see off her doubles partner Elise Mertens of Belgium 6-4, 6-3. In the first round she sent home Greece's Maria Sakkari 6-2, 4-6, 6-1.
In the quarterfinals Aryna Sabalenka will face either Romanian Simona Halep or Ons Jabeur of Tunisia.
The 2020 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, with the total money prize of $2.6 million, will be over on 22 February.
