MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – Belarus will host the 2nd European Games 2019 at the highest organizational level, Belarus' Prime Minister Sergei Rumas told the media on 6 September, BelTA informs.
“As for the European Games, I have already chaired the first meeting of the organizing committee. Almost all the events are on schedule. We still need to address the issues related to temporary infrastructure. The plan for its development is not ready yet. I think we will decide on it in the near future,” Sergei Rumas said.
In his words, the recent visit of EOC President Janez Kocijancic reaffirms that Belarus is on schedule in it preparation for the Games and will host them at the highest organizational level.
