Plans to present concept of 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 boxing competition in Budapest

MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) – A concept for arranging a boxing competition as part of the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 will be presented at a session of the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC) executive committee in Budapest, the press service of the Belarusian Boxing Federation told BelTA.

Belarusian Boxing Federation Chairman Dmitry Tikhomolov will tell colleagues about preparations for the year 2019's top competition, about the conditions created in the Uruchye sport complex, where a national championship has already taken place and an international championship in memory of Hero of the Soviet Union Viktor Liventsev will take place in October. Dmitry Tikhomolov is expected to hold negotiations with colleagues from other European federations to discuss conditions of forthcoming competitions.

Meanwhile, the AIBA Youth Women's & Men's World Championships 2018 began in Budapest. Nine Belarusians are taking part in it. The final part of the championship will take place on 29-31 August.

The 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 boxing tournament will take place in the Uruchye sport complex in Minsk on 21-30 June 2019. Fifteen sets of medals will be bestowed upon winners.
