MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) — The implementation of joint projects aimed at protecting and developing athletes of Belarus and Ukraine, assistance in their training and education after the end of their sporting career were high on the agenda of a meeting in the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine, which was attended by Secretary General of the NOC of Belarus Polina Golovina, BelTA learned from the press service of the public association.
During the talks in Kiev, the parties discussed the ways to expand cooperation to popularizeOlympism under the agreement on cooperation between the NOCs of the two countries. The participants of the meeting also shared the best practices in hosting events to promote the Olympic movement and education, and also the activity of the Olympic academies.
The parties agreed on further cooperation in the above-mentioned areas.
