Minsk to welcome athletes from 6 countries for New Fighting Generation event

MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – Athletes from six countries will come to the Belarusian capital for the international martial arts tournament New Fighting Generation 14. The tournament will take place in Falcon Club Arena on 6 December, BelTA learned from spokesman for the Belarusian Pankration and Mixed Martial Arts Federation Aleksandr Abdulkhakov.

In his words, taking part in the event will be 24 athletes from Belarus, the United States, Brazil, Iran, Germany and Afghanistan. The tournament will feature bouts in several weight categories and the Grand Prix in 66kg.

The main bout will take place between Belarus' Alexey Kudin (+93kg) and Kenny Garner of the United States.

Alexey Kudin, with a total of 26 victories, is a multi-time world champion in Thai boxing and kickboxing.

Kenny Garner boasts 17 victories, including ten knockout wins.
