MINSK, 29 June (BelTA) - Belarus' Maryia Fursava placed fifth in the Women's Kata event at the 2nd European Games in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian lost to Portugal's Patricia Esparteiro to score a total of 23.68 points.
Athletes are competing in 12 karate medal events at the 2nd European Games in Minsk. The tournament acts as a qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
