MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes Krystsina Tsimanouskaya and Alena Pasechnik secured two silver medals at the international athletic meetings in France and Germany, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Athletics Federation.
Krystsina Tsimanouskaya clocked 7.28 to finish second in the Women's 60m at the Meeting Metz Moselle Athlelor in France. Gina Bass of The Gambia won the event in 7.21. Third was Inna Eftimova of Bulgaria (7.41).
Belarusian shot putter Alena Pasechnik claimed silver with her best attempt of 18m at the competitions in Sassnitz, Germany. Gold went to Jamaica's Danniel Thomas-Dodd (18.31m). Bronze was collected by Julia Ritter of Germany (17.11m).
