MINSK, 29 June (BelTA) - Belarus have named Minsk 2019 two-time champion Maryna Litvinchuk as their flagbearer for the 2nd European Games closing ceremony, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee.
Apart from two gold medals, the athlete also won silver and bronze medals at Zaslavl Regatta Course, becoming one of the most decorated athletes on the team. Vladimir Samsonov (table tennis) was Team Belarus flagbearer at the opening ceremony of the 2nd European Games on 21 June.
The closing ceremony of the 2nd European Games will start at Dinamo Stadium at 22h00 on 30 June.
Organizers promise a grand show with the use of the latest technical devices and IT solutions. The special focus will be on ceremonies honoring athletes and volunteers.
