MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – Belarus' Sports and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk extended greetings to martial artists over a successful completion of the season and wished them new victories, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.
According to Sergei Kovalchuk, Belarusian kickboxers, Thia boxers and wushu athletes bring home many medals from international competitions every year. “The main credit for this progress of course goes to athletes and their coaches who commit themselves to a common goal,” the minister said.

He also emphasized a big contribution of the Belarusian Kickboxing and Thai Boxing Federation to the development and promotion of these sports and a good organization of the World and European Muaythai Championships in Minsk.
Sergei Kovalchuk presented the athletes and their coaches with letters of commendation of the Sports and Tourism Ministry.
