MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – The opening match of the 2020-21 KHL season between HC Dinamo Minsk and HC Jokerit Helsinki will not take place on 3 September, BelTA learned from the official website of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
“HC Dinamo Minsk v HC Jokerit Helsinki match, scheduled for 3 September, will not take place. The League will provide additional information later,” the message runs.
The faceoff between the Belarusian and Finnish teams was due to take place at Minsk Arena at 18.00 on 3 September. The Bisons are next to play HC Barys (Kazakhstan) on 5 September, HC Salavat Yulaev Ufa on 7 September and will wrap up their first home series against HC Ak Bars Kazan on 9 September.
