MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) – Belarus' world number 135 Olga Govortsova has reached the main draw of the Top Seed Open presented by Bluegrass Orthopaedics in Lexington, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian secured a solid win over world number 128 Francesca di Lorenzo of the United States, 6-1, 6-2. In the opener Olga Govortsova beat U.S. number 349 Katie Volynets in three sets 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
World number 11 Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus will face U.S. number 80 Madison Brengle in the round of Last 32.
