MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – Belarus will be represented at the 2020 KHL All-Star Game by a record-high number of players, BelTA learned from the official website of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.
Apart from Ilya Shinkevich, Kristian Khenkel and Vyacheslav Gretsky, going to Moscow will be HC Traktor defenseman Nick Bailen chosen by the league. This is a record-high number of Belarusian representatives to play in one KHL All-Star Game.
Former goalie of HC Dinamo Minsk Jhonas Enroth will be replaced at the All-Star Game by HC Lokomotiv goalkeeper Ilya Kolovalov who placed third (behind Jhonas Enroth and Ilya Sorokin) in the fans' voting.
The 2020 KHL All-Star Game will take place at the VTB Arena in Moscow on 18-19 January.
