MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – The UEFA held its Champions League third qualifying round draw on 31 August, BelTA has learned.
FC Dynamo Brest will play FC Maccabi in Tel Aviv on 15 or 16 September.
The Belarusian champions defeated FC Astana NurSultan 6-3 in the first qualifying round and then edged FC Sarajevo 2-1. Brest's rivals first beat FC Riga Latvia 2-0 and then blanked FK Suduva 3-0.
FC BATE Borisov will later learn their opponents in the Europa League second qualifying round. In the Europa League first qualifying round FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk lost to FC Sfintul Gheorghe in a penalty shootout, while FC Dinamo Minsk lost toFC Piast Gliwice.
