MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – FC Dinamo Brest blanked FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk 2-0 in the Belarus Cup semifinal, BelTA has learned.
The country's reigning champion from Brest scored twice in the first half. The result remained intact after the break.
Earlier, FC Slavia Mozyr edged FC BATE Borisov 1-0 to secure their second win over the Borisov team this season. In the second tour of the 2020 Belarusian Premier League FC Slavia Mozyr beat the 15-time Belarusian champion 2-1.
The return matches of the 29th edition of the Belarus Cup are scheduled for 29 April.
The final will take place at Minsk Dinamo Stadium on 24 May. Last time FC Shakhtyor won its trophy for the third time after defeating FC Vitebsk 2-0.
