MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) – FC Dinamo BGUFK have won their maiden Belarus Cup, BelTA has learned.
In the final FC Dinamo BGUFK beat FC Minsk in a penalty shootout after ending the match 0-0.
In the semifinal FC Dinamo BGUFK defeated FC Bobruichanka 5-1 (away) and 7-2 (at home). FC Minsk edged FC Neman 1-0, both away and at home.
FC Bobruichanka raised the Belarus Cup trophy ten times, FC Minsk – eight times, FC Nadezhda Mogilev – four times, FC Zorki BDU and FC Universitet Vitebsk – three times each.
