MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) – Dzmitry Lazouski of Belarus came in ninth in the Men's 10km Sprint at the 2020 IBU Junior Open European Championships Hochfilzen, Austria, BelTA has learned.
Belarus finished 1:30.2 behind the winner. Slovenia's Alex Cisar won the event in in 26:30.0. Vitezslav Hornig of the Czech Republic was second, 21.2 seconds back. Bronze went to Switzerland's Niklas Hartweg, 23.5 seconds back.



As for other Belarusian athletes, Ilya Auseyenka finished 13th, Aliaksandr Koshin 63rd, Ivan Tulatsin 67th, and Sviataslau Zaichanka 108th.
The women's sprint is to kick off at 15.30 on 12 March.
Single mixed relays and 4x7.5 mixed relays will take place on 14 March, and pursuits on 15 March.
