MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – Dzmitry Lazouski of Belarus came in fifth in the Men's 15km Individual at the 2020 IBU Junior Open European Championships Hochfilzen, Austria, BelTA has learned.
Belarus finished 1:41.4 behind the winner. Vitezslav Hornig of the Czech Republic won the event in 44:26.5. Silver went to Slovenia's Alex Cisar, 29 seconds back. Italy's Patrick Braunhofer came in third, 1:14.2 back.
As for other Belarusian athletes, Ivan Tulatsin finished 29th, Ilya Auseyenka 35th, Aliaksandr Koshin 45th, Sviataslau Zaichanka 80th.
Alina Pilchuk, Darya Kudayeva, and Karyna Anufryienka will represent Belarus in the Women's 12.5km Individual which kicks off at 15.30 on 11 March.
Single mixed relays and 4x7.5 mixed relays will take place on 12 March, sprints on 14 March, and pursuits on 15 March.
