MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) – Russia's Dina Averina and Israel's Linoy Ashram confirmed the status of the rhythmic gymnastics leaders winning two gold medals apiece at the 2nd European Games on Day 2, BelTA has learned.

The Russian topped the podium in the Hoop and Ribbon event. The Israeli athlete proved best in the Ball and Clubs event.
Belarus' Katsiaryna Halkina won the Hoop silver. The Belarusian finished fifth in the Clubs routine and fourth with the Ball and Ribbon.
The rhythmic gymnastics competitions will continue with group events at Minsk Arena on 23 June. Belarus will be represented by Hanna Shvaiba, Karyna Yarmolenka, Anastasiya Rybakova, Arina Tsitsilina and Hanna Haidukevich.
