Belarusian women archers shoot past 2nd European Games semifinals

MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Two Belarusian female athletes did not make it into the semifinals of the archery tournament during the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019, BelTA has learned.

In the Women's Recurve Individual quarterfinals Belarus' Karyna Dziominskaya competed with Gabriela Bayardo from Netherlands. The Belarusian archer was close to victory, yet she lost 5:6.

In another quarterfinal competition Karyna Kazlouskaya lost against Italy's Lucilla Boari 2:6.

Archery competitions in the sport complex Olimpiysky will end on 27 June. In the Men's Recurve Individual 1/8 Eliminations Belarus' Pavel Dalidovich will compete against Daniel Castro from Spain. Another set of medals will be won tomorrow without Belarusians – Men's Individual Compound.

So far Belarus has one award in the Women's Recurve Team Archery competition – a silver medal went to Karyna Kazlouskaya, Hanna Marusava, Karyna Dziominskaya.
