MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – Belarus won four silver medals on the final day of the 2020 Grand Prix Moscow, BelTA has learned.
Anastasiia Salos scored a total of 22,450 points to placed second with the Ball. Dina Averina scooped gold in the event with 23,150 points. Bronze went to Russia's Lala Kramarenko (22,350 points).
Anastasiia Salos took another silver with the Hoop (23,450 points). Gold went to Russia's Ekaterina Selezneva (24,400). her teammate Darya Trubnikova collected bronze with the total of 21,800 points.
The Belarusian team placed second scoring 32,100 points with Five Balls. Russia took gold (33,900 points). Third was Kazakhstan (31,650 points). Belarus also collected silver in the Hoops and Clubs routine (31,250 points). Russia was victorious with the total of 34,150 points. Uzbekistan placed third (29,150 points).
Belarus won a total of six silver medals at the 2020 Grand Prix Moscow. The Belarusian team (Anastasiya Rybakova, Hanna Shvaiba, Arina Tsitsilina, Hanna Haidukevich, Karyna Yarmolenka and Lalita Matskevich) won silver in the All-Around event. Alina Harnasko won silver in the All-Around event at the international tournament which took place alongside with the 2020 Grand Prix Moscow.
The 2020 Grand Prix Moscow, the Olympic season opener, took place at the Irina Viner-Usmanova Palace of Gymnastics in Moscow on 7-9 February. Athletes from 37 countries took part in the competitions.
