MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) – Belarus' Nadezhda Bogdanova and Pavel Platonov advanced to the table tennis quaterfinal in the Mixed Doubles event as part of the ongoing 2nd European Games on 23 June, BelTA has learned.
In the round of Last 16, the Belarusian duet secured a solid victory over Szandra Pergel and Adam Szudi of Hungary, 3-0. The Belarusian duo will next face the French tandem of Laura Gasnier and Tristan Flore.
In the Women's Singles round three, Belarus' Nadezhda Bogdanova lost to Hungary's Georgian Pota 0-4. Belarus' Viktoryia Paulovich will take on Romania's Elizabeta Samara for the Last 16 berth.
In the Men's Singles, leader of the Belarusian team Vladimir Samsonov will play Italy's Niagol Stoyanov in the round of Last 32.
