MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) - Belarus have progressed to the Men's 3x3 basketball semifinal at the 2nd European Games in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Belarus battled through one of the tournament's favorites, Serbia, 19-15, in an action-packed quarterfinal. Belarus will face either Latvia or France in the semifinal. The other quarterfinals will feature Lithuania vs Poland and the Czech Republic vs Russia.
Earlier, the Belarusian women's team secured a 15-11 win over the Netherlands. Belarus will face Estonia in the semifinal. The other quarterfinals will feature Germany vs Spain and France vs Russia.
The competitions are underway at Palova Arena near Minsk Sports Palace. Champions and medalists will be named on 24 June.
