MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – When compiling the training programs of Belarusian athletes ahead of the Olympic Games in 2020, we consider such factors as temporary and climate adaptation to Tokyo and are thus planning training camps at sports facilities of the Far East region, Belarus Sport and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk said as he spoke at the NOC meeting, BelTA has learned.
“We have an absolute understanding and maintain the closest cooperation with our Russian colleagues. During the joint meeting of the sport ministries of the two countries in December this year in Sochi, we will once again discuss this topic,” said the minister.
