MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) – The coaching staff of the Belarusian national boxing team named the lineup for the European Olympic Qualifying Tournament which is due to take place in London on 13-23 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Boxing Federation.
Belarus will field Anton Charnamaz (57kg), Dzmitry Asanau (63kg), Aliaksandr Radzionau (69kg), Vitali Bandarenka (75kg), Mikhail Dauhaliavets (81kg), and Uladzislau Smiahlikau (91kg), and also Yulia Apanasovich (51kg), Galina Bruyevich (57kg), Alla Staradub (60kg), and Viktoryya Kebikava (75kg).
The World Olympic Qualifying Tournament is due in Paris on 13-24 May. Taking part in it will be athletes who have failed to earn the Olympic berth at the continental competitions.
The boxing competitions at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics will take place on 25 July — 9 August.
