MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Belarus' Aleh Yurenia clinched bronze in the Men's K1 1000m at the 2nd European Games on 26 June, BelTA has learned.
Aleh Yurenia finished +1.355 second behind the frontrunner. Hungary's Balint Kopasz won gold. Fernando Pimenta of Portugal came second.
This season Aleh Yurenia lost to Fernando Pimenta in the final of this medal event at the 2019 ICF Canoe Sprint & Paracanoe World Cup in Poznan, Poland.
On 26-27 June, 350 athletes will compete for 16 medal sets in the Regatta Course in Zaslavl.
