MINSK, 28 November (BelTA) - The Belarusian national football team goes 87th with 1,280 points in the recently published rankings of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), one position down from the previous list released one month ago, BelTA has learned.
Over the past month Mikhail Markhel's men lost two games: 0-4 to Germany as part of the 2020 UEFA European Championship Qualifying campaign, and 0-2 to Montenegro. Belarus' opponent in the Nations League semifinal, Georgia, is 91st in the November rankings.

Among the post Soviet Union states Ukraine ranks the highest (24th). Russia goes 38th.
