MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – Popular singer Ani Lorak has been named the 2nd European Games Star Ambassador. She received the corresponding certificate during the Golden Gramaphone Awards ceremony in Minsk on 9 December, BelTA has learned.
Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC) CEO George Katulin stated: “Sports and music erase borders, bring countries and peoples together”. “Giving this certificate to one of the strongest vocalists of the world I would like to express confidence that many-million armies of music and sport fans will unite, and next year we will be able to celebrate the brightest event of the year – the 2nd European Games – together,” he said.
The Golden Gramophone Awards ceremony was held in Minsk for the third time.
