Russia's Angelina Melnikova was victorious in Women's All-Around who scored 54.498 points in four exercises. Silver went to French Lorette Charpy (54.166) and bronze to Ukrainian Diana Varinska (52.766). Young Belarusian gymnast Anastasiya Alistratava scored 50.165 points and finished in 12th place among 18 finalists.
Belarus secured two champion titles in the women's wrestling at Sports Palace. Iryna Kurachkina took the Women's 57kg gold before Vasilisa Marzaliuk won the Women's -76kg event.
“We were expecting that everything would be fine but Minsk actually surpassed our expectations in terms of the level of organization of the games,” the EOC head said. Thanks to this international sports event Europe will learn more about Belarus and understand it better.
