Exhibition of Japanese paintings on show in Belarus' Botanical Garden

MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) – The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) invites Minsk residents and guests to see the exhibition of Japanese paintings The Garden of Delicate Scents, which opened on 16 June, BelTA has learned.

The paintings display a variety of peonies. The works are made in sumie technique. The presented works of non-professional artists are united by love for Japanese painting.

The exhibition has been organized jointly with the public association of Oriental culture and traditions Hagakure.

Visitors to the Botanical Garden will also be invited to enjoy a blossoming collection of peonies, an organized family walk, an entertaining and informative quest, florist's workshops, and lotteries. There will be an opportunity to take part in a photo marathon. Participants will need to take a photo of peonies in the Botanical Garden and post it on Instagram with the hashtag #cbg. The prize is a bouquet of peonies.
