MINSK, 2 September (BelTA) – Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, Major-General Aleksandr Volfovich has talked to Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Valery Gerasimov over the phone, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
Aleksandr Volfovich and Valery Gerasimov discussed the current state of bilateral military cooperation, including preparations for the Belarusian-Russian-Serbian army exercise Slavonic Brotherhood 2020, which will take place in Belarus, and the strategic command and staff exercise Caucasus 2020, which will take place in Russia.
