MINSK, 24 April (BelTA) - Officers of the Belarusian army have donated more than Br130,000 to the charity account of the Healthcare Ministry, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
“Last week, officers from the Military Academy launched an initiative to organize a fundraiser among officers to help healthcare institutions. The proposal was supported by all military units,” the Defense Ministry said.
The charity account has been opened at the National Center for Medical Response. Donations are distributed in accordance with the needs of healthcare institutions in coordination with the Healthcare Ministry.
