MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – The International Military Cooperation Department of the Belarusian Defense Ministry has held a number of meetings with representatives of the military and diplomatic corps from the UK, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine accredited with the ministry, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
The Defense Ministry informed foreign partners of the current domestic and foreign political situation, presented the analysis of the growing number of foreign troops and personnel of the armed forces of the neighboring states, and explained the measures of the Belarusian Armed Forces to respond to security threats to Belarus and to prepare the Armed Forces for their task. Foreign partners were also reminded about the status and functions of the foreign military representatives and diplomats accredited with the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
