MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) - As of 28 April, 1,993 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 recovered and were discharged from hospitals in Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry told BelTA.
A total of 12,208 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the country, which is 7.5% of the number of the conducted tests. “A total of 161,028 coronavirus tests have been performed in Belarus so far,” the ministry said.
Seventy-nine coronavirus patients suffering from a number of chronic diseases have died.
