MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No.159 “Concerning the translation of assets and liabilities into functional curency” on 12 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
According to the document, commercial organizations are entitled to attribute the exchange rate differences formed from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2022 to the current financial result in stages until the end of 2022.
The decree was adopted to prevent a sharp deterioration in the financial performance of business entities. It will make it possible to minimize the negative impact of the Belarusian ruble exchange rate fluctuations, will contribute to the stable operation of commercial organizations in the adverse epidemiological situation in the world.
