MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden as the country celebrates National Day of Sweden, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I am convinced that the political dialogue at the highest level that we resumed last year will promote peace and stability in our common Europe,” the message of greetings says.
The head of state welcomed joint efforts of the two states to expand cooperation in economy, energy, environmental protection, and transport.
