MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – We must do everything possible to prevent the country from breaking up and surrendering, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he addressed a rally of his supporters in Minsk on 16 August, BelTA has learned.
“We have built a beautiful country despite all the difficulties. Whom do you want to give it to? I will not allow anyone to give our country away even if I am gone,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
The rally cheered in support.
