Lukashenko extends Independence Day greetings to Burkina Faso

MINSK, 5 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President Roch Marc Christian Kabore of Burkina Faso as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state reaffirmed Belarus' commitment to a constructive dialogue and fruitful cooperation with Burkina Faso on the basis of mutual respect and trust. “The development of long-term partnership between Belarus and Burkina Faso in trade, economy, education, culture and other sectors is of special interest,” the message of greetings runs.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Roch Marc Christian Kabore a strong health, inexhaustible energy and every success on this responsible post and also peace and prosperity to the people of Burkina Faso.
