MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) - We need to change our lives on the basis of the Constitution and common sense, Aleksandr Markevich, a member of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives, said in an interview with the SB. Belarus Segodnya newspaper, BelTA has learned.

“We had the election. We have the winner. Many countries, including Russia, China and Kazakhstan, recognized the election results. Even those with a different position do not recognize other candidates but the incumbent president as the winner. These are the facts from which we proceed,” said Aleksandr Markevich. “But individual citizens of Belarus, posing as who knows what, are attempting to cook cutlets from ‘Lithuanian minced meat' using ‘Polish oil' in an ‘American frying pan' and promise to feed all our citizens, all working collectives.”

It is important for every citizen, a state body, a public association to maintain security and stability in the country,” the MP said. “A dialogue is the way to do this. There is no need for someone to bring changes. We need to change our lives on the basis of the Constitution, common sense. Change should be evolutionary based on progress and advancement rather that destruction,” he added
