MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – Belarusian Ambassador to Belgium Aleksandr Mikhnevich has met with Minister-President of Wallonia Willy Borsus, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
“The ambassador confirmed the invitation for Willy Borsus to visit Belarus. The Walloon minister-president emphasized that he is ready to come to Belarus and asked to schedule the visit in H2 2020- early 2021,” the diplomatic mission informed.
During the meeting Aleksandr Mikhnevich and Willy Borsus discussed in-detail preparations for another contact day. This time the event will focus on academic partnerships between Belarusian and Belgian universities. The event is to be held at the University of Mons on 18 February.
In addition to that, the parties reviewed preparations for similar events in IT and innovations that are scheduled for H2 2020.
