MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) - Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and U.S. Under Secretary for Political Affairs David Hale had a telephone conversation at the initiative of the U.S. side, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
“The parties discussed the topical issues of Belarusian-U.S. relations, and touched on the current regional and international agenda,” the press service said.
At the request of the U.S. side, Vladimir Makei informed David Hale about the course of the presidential election campaign in Belarus.
